Enabling Google Pay
Google Paylets customers pay easily and securely through your online store using an accelerated checkout process. When a customer pays for their order by using Google Pay, they don't need to manually enter their credit card information or shipping address. The customer taps the Google Pay button and Google Pay provides that information to the payment provider. Learn more aboutaccelerated checkouts.

Google Pay Requirements
To enable the Google Pay button for your online store, you need to be using Shopify Payments.
Your store must adhere to the Google Pay APITerms of ServiceandAcceptable Use Policy.
Google Pay isn't available to merchants located in France who useShopify Payments.

To activate Google Pay, complete the following steps:
Your customers can now use Google Pay to check out on your store.
Google Pay Customer experience
When a customer visits your online store, a button with the Google Pay logo appears.
If your customer has the Google Pay app installed, then they can tap the button to make a purchase with Google Pay. After they tap the button, their billing and shipping information appears. The customer then has to authenticate to conclude the purchase.

Google Pay not showing in the Shopify admin
Google Pay is only available to merchants on Shopify Payments.
Discounts not applied to purchases
If Google Pay is not applying discounts, then check that a valid address was selected in the Google Pay window. For products that don't require a shipping address, such as digital products, Google won't apply the discount.
