View and schedule payouts
You can view information about your payouts and edit your payout schedule in the Shopify Payments section of your Shopify admin.

Pay periods
The length of time between the date that a customer's payment is captured and the date that your payout is sent to your bank account depends on the country that your store is based in. For details, refer to the pay period of thesupported countrywhere your store is based.
If you set up apayment schedule, then your pay period is adjusted according to the schedule that you set.
If you use Shopify Balance, then you can receive your Shopify Payments earnings as fast as one business day. Learn more aboutreceiving payouts with a Shopify Balance account.
Payout fees
When you use Shopify Payments, you pay the credit card rate, but you don't pay a transaction fee. Stores that use a third-party payment provider instead of Shopify Payments pay both a transaction fee from Shopify, and credit card fees charged by their third-party payment provider. You canview a specific payoutfor an overview of the fees that you were charged for that payout.
View your payouts
You can view your scheduled payout balance and payout schedule from the Shopify admin. Payments are synced with their orders. This makes it easy to find how much you receive for an individual order.
Steps:
ThePayoutspage displays your previous and next payout. If you've scheduled your payouts, then the estimated date that you get paid is displayed. You can view the available balance for your next payout and any funds held in reserve.
Payout status
TheAll payoutssection of thePayoutspage lists all of your payouts and their current status:
Status | Description |
---|---|
In Transit | The payout is in the process of being sent to your bank account. |
Paid | The payout was sent to your bank. This doesn't mean that you have the funds in your bank account. Your bank might still need to process and deposit the funds into your account, which typically takes between 1-3 business day depending on your bank. |
Failed | Your bankfailed to successfully process the payout, and the funds weren't deposited. You should follow the prompts in your Shopify admin to learn about next steps. |
View a specific payout
You can find the details of a specific payout in the following ways:
- In the payout schedule, click the amount of the payout.
- In theAll payoutssection, click the date of the payout.
TheOverviewsection shows the following information about the payout:
- the total amount of the payout
- the payout status
- the bank account that the payout is transferring to
- the transfer reference number (where available)
- a breakdown of the charges, refunds, adjustments, and reserves
TheTransactionssection shows the details of each transaction included in the payout.
For more information about the status of a specific payout, you can reach out to the bank connected to your Shopify Payments account and provide them with the payout's transfer reference number.
View all transactions
ClickingTransactionson thePayouts页面列出了所有事务s associated with all of your payouts.
Transactions share the samestatusas payouts with the addition of thePendingstatus. Transactions marked asPendingare for sales that you've made, but that haven't been sent to your bank account yet. ThePayout Datefor pending transactions is an estimate only.
Export your transactions
The total fees for each payout and pending transaction are displayed in theTransactionstable. You can export your transactions to a CSV file.
Steps

ClickView Transactions.
ClickExport.
Select the range of transactions you want to export and the type of CSV file, then clickExport balance transactions.
The CSV file will contain the following information:
Transaction Date | The date and time that the transaction occurred, including the time zone. Example:2017-06-20 11:26:40 -0400 |
Type | The type of transaction. Example:adjustment orrefund |
Order | The number associated with the order. |
Card Brand | The type of card used for the transaction. Example:visa |
Card Source | The method by which the card was charged. Example:swiped |
Payout Status | The payout status of the transaction. Example:pending |
Payout Date | The date of the payout. |
Available On | The date that the payout will be available. |
Amount | The amount of the transaction. |
Fee | The fee applied to the transaction. |
Net | The difference between the amount and the fee. |
Schedule your payouts
If you want to get paid at regular intervals, then you can set up a weekly or monthly payout schedule. After you update your payout schedule, pending payouts are delayed until the next applicable payout date on your new schedule. If you select a recurring date for when you want to get paid, then the payout is scheduled for that day, but your bank might take additional time to process the transfer.
The funds might not appear in your bank account right after they're sent. Banks typically take between 1-3 business days to process deposits to your bank account.
