About the role

Shopify Plus is making enterprise commerce simple. We give high growth, high volume merchants the scalability, reliability, and flexibility they need. Shopify Plus is helping power commerce for companies like GymShark, Staples, FCUK, Jigsaw and many more. We believe large merchants should love their commerce platform and we work hard each day to make that happen. We are in hyper-growth, and this is where you come in.

Shopify Plus is looking for an Large Account Executive with proven performance in a quota-carrying role to support the growth of our Enterprise business in Europe. As part of our Sales team, you are responsible for developing and executing account strategies to generate new business opportunities with large enterprises across the EMEA region.

Responsibilities:

  • Challenge the merchants status quo and help them to make the right decisions for their business to succeed
  • Manage and qualify multiple opportunities through the sales process to a successful close, in order to meet or exceed your quarterly sales quota
  • Act as a trusted advisor and establish lasting relationships with senior executives
  • Craft and drive strategic go-to-market plans to meet company growth goals
  • Serve as the voice of the merchant and collect feedback to drive continuous improvement across all areas including product
  • Forecast sales activity and revenue achievement while creating satisfied merchants

Qualifications

  • Based in the United Kingdom
  • Extensive years of enterprise software sales experience. An emphasis on Cloud, SaaS, Martech and Commerce is preferred
  • Proven ability to develop, manage and close new business at C-level in major and complex accounts
  • Proactive, independent thinker with high energy and positive attitude working amongst the chaos of diving into a new market
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • A passion for talking to people, understanding their unique business needs, and showing them how to 10x their business
  • Analytical mindset and a curiosity to solve problems
  • Desire to work in a team environment where you make each other better
  • Have an impact; be involved and do something incredible!
  • Fluent spoken and written English
