Absolutely did not work. Spent around 4k and almost eight months for the product to fail to deliver on the simplest tasks, and spent 2K on scanners RECCOMMENDED by the CIN7 tech support, only to have them tell us later they're incompatible with the program. Inept, a joke, stay away.
I've used cin 7 now for over 4 years, and I would not recommend it to anyone. The support is nonexistent, the only way you can get help it by saying you will only speak to a manager, If you leave a support ticket, no one will get back to you. The software itself doesn't work, it's broken. It has all the features you need and want but they are half-built with bugs and issues. We are trying to find another inventory but are struggling to find one that can cover all our needs. Every new software company we speak to says that people coming from cin 7 have all the same issues. Don't do it to yourself trust me. Danny Ing do you ever read these reviews? At what point are you going to fix your software and listen to your customers?
Long time cin7 user - these past 5 months have been an absolute nightmare. Technical problems such as not being able to update prices without the app deleting your own variants! Not being able to remap and add new variants, not being able to update stock. Absolutely got not no business being on this app store. They cannot perform the bare minimum for inventory control without having a huge down time of weeks to months.
We've been using CIN7 and Shopify for a few years now and we have found that the two systems work well together.

Two different onboarding specialists have both left the company leaving us hanging. Meanwhile, they are happy to charge us every month. NOT impressed.
We switched from Tradegecko and the Cin7 platform has been much better suited to our needs, it integrates well and provides clear reporting options.
绝对不he worst customer service of any software we have ever worked with. They will keep blaming you, not respond to any support tickets and you will end up paying thousands of dollars and spend months in implementation for an inaccurate software. They have so many integration issues/bugs and it's way too complicated for a small-medium size business. Because of the software's issues we had delayed shipments on Amazon and Shopify which caused our account health to drop and made for angry customers. It simply won't sync the orders correctly and they will keep saying it's your fault for not reviewing their "academy" videos which is just ridiculous to ask that after we paid $1,500 for implementation. So mad that we chose to go with this software and will strongly advise you to look for other alternatives. This will NOT make your life easier at all. Quite the opposite. I had high hopes but I cancelled the subscription (which was a process as well) one month after going live and after spending 4 months in implementation. Save your time and money.
We have been using Cin7 now for more than a year. We find is incredibly powerful, and complex. We manage stock and orders on 4 channels (3 x shopify and 1 marketplace) + 3PL. We also have Inventory Planner connected which forecasts purchasing and assists with our POs and stock levels. I would recommend Cin7 if you're willing to invest the time and resources to get to know it intimately. It is our go-to platform for managing our operations.
We moved from TradeGeko to CIN7 and the difference is AMAZING! Not only has it given us the ability to better manage our inventory, but the integration with Shopify, an EDI link to amazon vendor, B2B stores and seamless data transfer between QBO and ShipTheory means that we are confident that we have a robust system that will scale with us. I cannot recommend it enough!
Pros: Systems integrate well together, you don't encounter many issues. A great system to manage your inventory, especially doe small businesses. Cons: When you do encounter an issue, their service team can take weeks to get back to you and get the issue resolved.
