Choosing your account language and region

The Shopify admin can be displayed in many different languages. You can also change the format of the time, date, currency, and numbers of your Shopify admin by changing the region of your account. You can change your account language and region at any time.

Change your account language

Changing your account language changes only the language that is displayed to you in your Shopify admin. It will not affect the language of your online storefront. To change the language of your online storefront, refer toTranslating themes.

Steps:

2. ClickManage account.

3. In thePreferred languagesection, in theLanguagefield, select the language that you want to use from the drop-down menu.

Change your account region

Changing your account region adjusts the time, date, currencies, and numbers in your Shopify admin to match the standard formatting of the region that you choose.

If the currency of your chosen account region doesn't match yourstore currency, then the currency code of your store currency displays next to any monetary values in your admin. For example, when the store currency and account region both use USD, a monetary value of 100 would display in your admin as "$100". If the store currency is USD and the account region uses EUR, then a monetary value of 100 would display as "USD 100".

4. Select the region that you want to use from the drop-down menu.
