If I could rate this with minus stars I would have. I have implemented hundreds of apps/APIs etc. But this integration between Shopify and Tiktok is the worst I have ever experienced. All went relatively smooth until trying to set up a product catalog. In which I constantly got an error message regarding the country or region cant be selected for my storefront. Firstly I consulted Shopify support to which they said I didnt have any issues with the the setup of my storefront. I spent hours with their support team with no solution. At the same time I reached out to Tiktok support. Seriously slow responses and no idea on how to resolve the issue. Surely if Shopify and Tiktok work together on an integration, then somebody must be able to pin point what the issue is. I then set up a completely new Business account with Tiktok and again tried to connect to the Tiktok account from Shopify and got the same error. I have sent out one final email to Tiktok support, but frankly it shouldnt be this difficult and for two major companies like Tiktok and Shopify, the level of support as been way below average.
Worst experience. The app isnt working properly. Got "network error" multiple times. Tried to send a complaint ticket multiple times but it is not easy to find information about how to send a ticket. The tik tok for business isnt easy to set up, and customer support is non existent. Never got a reply on my first complaint. I bought a small amount of coins just to test something out. My account got suspended shortly after and I havent even got as far as making an ad campaign..
Not even 1 Star i have sent this message 3 times and i haven't herd back, I need help please i have an issue with TikTok Ads I have published a few ads and the cost was very high compared to the result. i have tried all the budgets the £20 and the 40 and 50 and 60. they all was the same the first a few minutes the viewers are goes between 20 & 30 viewer but no more and i have tried to delete the activities and publish again in case if the issue from my connection, but it is still the same. I have paid more than £380.00 for the ads and i only had [ 3 ] orders, that is really unfair. This is my third Email to you if didn't get any support or my ads been calculated again, I am going to leave this as review.
I can't even set anything up! Each time I try I keep getting "system error" and that's it! I've contacted support (more than once) and have yet to receive a response. I just made contact again. I've never encountered anything as stupid as this. I am not happy!
God awful. The app does not at all work as it is supposed to. Every video I try to add does not upload no matter if i make sure that it is 100% perfect in format. Multiple videos tried and none the less it still does not work. Do not waste your time with this app you are better of going organic. If these issues were resolved then the app has great potential. Until then this app is a waste of everyone's time.
A vast majority of their 5 star reviews are AI generated. Just read them and you'll see. I don't understand how Shopify allows all these fake reviews on their platform.
App is very limited in what you can do. Does not sync product orders between TikTok Shop and Shopify. Pretty much a pointless app.
I do not recommend TikTok being part of your q4 strategy, highly unreliable. See error message I received.

There is literally NO Way to get in contact with a living person for trouble shooting problems so I have to resort to posting here.
I am unable to connect my store to TikTok.
When I attempt to connect via phone I get an error message that says "Username or password doesn't match our records. Try again."
When I attempt to connect by email the error message says "We couldn't find an account with that email.".
I've tried resetting my password, unlinking and re-linking my email. Nothing works. And the "Report a Problem" page doesn't cover this problem nor let you speak to a real person so I'm stuck
I didn't even create any campaigns. All i did was install the app and it got suspended.
Your advertising account has been suspended. Accounts can be suspended for one or more of the following reasons:
- We received a report or complaint on your account from users or other channels.
- There are problems with the creatives, qualifications or services provided by the ads.
- There are malicious behaviors or intent suspected during ad creation.
- If the advertisers tamper with the landing page after the ads starts to deliver.
- If your credit card has an abnormal charge on your account.
- If your account has a long outstanding balance that has not been paid or your payment fails.
I used the app and simply tried to connect it with my Shopify store, but it said, "We detected unusual behavior during your account registration. Please make sure your network environment is secure or change the network you are using, and make sure the information you fill in is true." I filled out the document a few days ago and never received any feedback since then.
