Absolute garbage. I've been trying for over a month to get my products listed on Google. They keep disapproving my listings. I've reached out to Shopify several times and they keep telling me it's Google's problem. I've tried reaching out to Google and it sends me to Google Ads, which doesn't help because it's the wrong department. Nothing helps me reach the Google Merchant Center help desk. There's such a huge lack of customer support and a very poor quality of integration. There's no clear instructions of why your listings get disapproved. I've read that other customers didn't have any issues on other ecommerce platforms such as WooCommerce. This suggests that it's definitely an integration issue between both Shopify and Google, and someone needs to take responsibility for the issues and fix them before Shopify loses customers due to this terrible performing app. There is absolutely no point to staying with Shopify if this app won't list your products. There's no other way to be seen online unless you physically share your website to social media platforms. It's absolutely ridiculous and has been the bane of my existence for the last 30+ days.

This is an awful app. I sell thousands of products from big brands that have barcodes. Nearly every product just reports back with 'Missing GTIN' because there is an issue with the way the app sends the information to google.
If you search for this issue it has been going on for years with hundreds of people writing about it in reviews, and youtube videos etc. Yet shopify support don't "get it" and have not fixed the issue. Completely pointless app if you're selling third party barcoded products as they wont list on google shopping.

Can;t even log in after installing the thing. Can't use it AT ALL.
This app has reached its sign-in rate limit for now.
Google limits how quickly an app can get new users. You can try signing in again later, or ask the developer (merchant-marketing@shopify.com) to increase this app's sign-in rate limit.

If you use 3rd party product feed this will brake it.
If you think it will simplify GA4 and google ads Tag it will not, if you using other app for your product feed. It will install and link GA4 but to install and link google ads tag YOU need to use there feed! there is no option in the app NOT to send feed, there is no option in merchant centre to choose your feed either. So once you disconnect on this app from merchant centre it will disconnect and delete google ads Tags as well.
SO if you use other app for you product feed and thinking about simplifying tags this will not work in fact this will override and brake your feed. Customer support will just paly ping pong among 'departments' and will close your case after about 2nd caned response.
Ogh and be careful with Performance Max campaigns will throttle your ads to click farms.

Just to clarify, GA4 tagging and free listings / ads conversion tracking are two separate tag mechanisms for setting up conversion tracking. You do not need to connect your Merchant Center account to the Google & YouTube app to set up your GA4 tagging or to track conversions through GA4.
If you’d like to track conversions through GA4, once you’ve connect your GA4 account / property to the Google & YouTube app, follow these steps [https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/10632359?hl=en] to import conversions to ads.
If you delete the Google & YouTube app, only tags set up through the app will be deleted and can be set up again if you reinstall / connect.

So I attempted this morning to add this. Two issues. First, it created a brand new account under my main google merchant center login. This is not what I wanted. I am a trusted store, have local and Buy on Google set up under my other account. Why would I want to start from scratch. The other issue is that I have sub-accounts under my main google merchant center account. It allowed me to select from them, but didn't list the actual sub-account I needed to connect to. It only listed three of the four sub-accounts I have. I have no idea why it didn't list them all. We do live shows every month and have over 85,000 followers on Youtube. I think this could be awesome if you can help me to get it to work and I would change my review to 5 stars.
This app is trash, just like most of the apps on the Shopify platform. Lots of errors. Missing titles in my Google merchant. If I could give it minus 100 stars, I would. This is ridiculous that such a platform as Shopify makes so much trash... That's a perfect example of highly paid VPs that are total morons, getting paid tons of money and never getting fired. Doing minimum and destroying companies. Little people get laid off but never these schmucks...

I had been using this for years, got a notice a little while ago about products expiring, and now all my products are disapproved, has been like that for 3 weeks already.
Contacted Shopify Support, they told me to contact Google. Contacted Google, no response. Seems like i am not the only one having this issue, with no where to tuirn for support.
No point in having a website if am unable to market the items on Google

This app is garbage, Shopify blames Google, and Google blames Shopify. Just got an email from Google. This is regarding over 200 pending items for 7 business days. Here's what it says: Hi Scott, We do not support Shopify as we do not have access to it, which is why I cannot tell what is causing this issue in Shopify. Please contact their support, I hope they can figure this out and get your items approved as soon as possible. If you have additional questions about Google Ads or Google Merchant Center, please let me know by replying to my email. Sincerely,

Very bad app, you cannot connect to your branded YouTube channels and when you want to connect to the Google Merchants Center you get all kinds of errors such as missing the shipping info and for this reason, Google rejects your products. I'm struggling already for 5 days to solve this issue without success so far! The support from Shopify is very shallow, they provide scarce info and don't provide step-by-step details or even set up your account even if they know that Google has all kinds of silly settings about which you have no clue.
Overall, there is very little information about how to set up correctly the app so that Google takes over your products without hassles on its platforms.

The app looks a bit different from the screenshots included in its app store page. I wanted to access the product list (this is shown in the first screenshot of the app), but there seems no way to open the same product list page.
